Fit Y’s (Over 55's)
Held in the Group Fitness Studio, Fit Y's is a group training program which allows mature adults to experience a variety of exercise styles & benefits whilst making new friends. Classes are instructed by fully qualified trainers who energise and provide motivation, and specialise in training our more mature clients. Call us for class times: (08) 9375 3529.
Living Longer Living Stronger (Tier 3)
Living Longer Living Stronger (LLLS) (Tier 3) is an outreach health and wellness program designed for the residents of retirement villages to become active and establish physical activity as regular behavior. In particular the LLLS Tier 3 initiative focuses on providing resistance training opportunities for older adults complemented by a variety of advice on health and wellness. Exercise, particularly resistance training, has been shown to be the most effective way to actively avoid losing muscle with age. Numerous studies show convincingly that resistance exercise training can increase muscle strength and power and improve the ability to perform the tasks of daily living.
In association with the Council of the Ageing WA (COTA WA), LLLS Tier 3 is currently delivered at the City of Bayswater's Mertone and Lawley Park Retirement Villages with participants demonstrating huge gains in their health and wellbeing.
We also offer Living Longer Living Stronger at Tiers 1 and 2.
Low impact class that uses Yoga positions and exercises to increase strength, lower stress, and improve balance and coordination. Yoga has been proven to have a multitude of health benefits for mature adults, including relieving symptoms of Osteoporosis and Arthritis, reducing stress and assisting with depression. Stretch and Shape

Zumba for the Over 55s. This class is on the group fitness timetable by popular demand. Zumba fuses hypnotic Latin rhythms and easy to follow dance moves. It's so much fun you won't know you're exercising! Come and dance!
