Don't miss YMCA Belmont's Stress Less Fest for Mental Health week

Youth

Kick-starting this Saturday 7th October, the 50th Mental Health Week WA will take place, with a raft of wonderful community events taking place to celebrate the occasion.

With fantastic activations taking place all around our state, the one event not to be missed, is the Stress Less Fest at Faulkner Park in Cloverdale.

The free, all-ages event will be held at Faulkner Park from 12-3pm on Saturday 14th October, and has been entirely organised by The Base @ Belmont Youth Committee to raise awareness for Mental Health Week.

The young people have worked tirelessly this term exploring mental health to ensure they could create the best possible event for the whole community. The outcome of such careful efforts means every activity has been carefully considered to promote positive mental health.

Activities include the game vault gaming station, a photobooth, DJ, inflatable soccer, face painting, freedom fairies, pop up library and a BBQ.

Come along and show your support to the young people for the fantastic work they've done to bring this event to life, and to make yourself a promise to stay mentally healthy.
