Today we farewell our CEO, Ross Kyrwood.
Ross has been a visionary leader for the Y and his passion for empowering young people is unparalleled. Determined to prove what a positive impact our service have on individuals and communities, Ross introduced an approach to outcomes measurement, which has become a fundamental part of our organisational culture.
Some milestones we attribute to Ross’s leadership include the establishment of our enterprise growth strategy, the introduction of an Australian first youth empowerment event – Collision Festival and the upcoming opening of our first Vocational School in January 2022.
Ross’s impact will continue for the decades to come as he steps into his new role as Executive Director Strategic Projects at Y Australia where he will continue to empower young people.
Ross will be missed at the Y WA and we wish him all the best in the next chapter of his career.
