YTime is a free innovative service that delivers recreational outreach activities in the community, with additional case management support for young people who are particularly at risk.
The YTime program aims to help young people use their leisure time constructively and stay, healthy, engaged and feeling supported.
Who can take part in YTime?
YTime develops and facilitates social and recreational programs, proactively engaging young people aged 10 – 17 in an outreach setting. The program provides physically and mentally challenging activities designed to enhance participants' self-esteem and promote cultural awareness.
Where is YTime run and how can I get involved?
YTime is currently delivered at Langford, Newman, Serpentine Jarrahdale and Armadale. To get involved or for more information, please email us on firstname.lastname@example.org or phone (08) 9227 8569.
What will I gain from getting involved?
YTime provides endless fun opportunities for young people from excursions such as paint-balling, Bounce and Kalamunda Water Park, to urban art, cooking, scooter workshops, sport and much more. YTime staff provide youth work support for program participants (e.g. informal counselling), make referrals to other community agencies as required, and research and monitor the needs of young people.
